Carl Icahn Buys Another $500 Million Worth Of Apple Stock

Carl Icahn has just announced the purchase of another $500 million worth of Apple's stock.

Just bought $500 mln more $AAPL shares. My buying seems to be going neck-and-neck with Apple's buyback program, but hope they win that race.

Just a week ago Icahn announced the purchased $500 million in shares bringing their investment in Apple to$3.6 billion. It should now be around $4.1 billion.

Icahn likely purchased shares taking advantage of the over 7% in Apple's stock following its earnings reportyesterday. He has been pushing the company to increase its stock buyback to $150 billion. His latest open letter to Apple shareholders on the matter can be read.
