Heart Attack Review

Performances:

 

 Nitin looked confident and carried out his  role very well. His has given decent performance. Debutante Adah Sharma was fine as female lead. Kesha Khambati was good as heroine s friend.  Brahmi was usual and entertained as much as he can,especially titanic scene was hilarious. Ali has done a supporting role and his role does not offer much comedy.  Ajaz Khan was alright as main villain.  Ajay did a short role but made his presence felt. Prakash raj has done a guest role at the climax.

 

 

Technical  Departments:

 

 

Story-Screenplay-Direction: Puri once again came up with a wafer thin story line yet interesting one. Screenplay is appealing and smooth at the initial stages but narration lose it's grip soon. Puri neglected the main love track and concentrated on the side track of heroines friend .  The scenes involving that side track are passable but much time was wasted . Neither hero's passion was portrayed well or heroine's love towards hero . And also Puri unnecessarily inserts his male domination/chauvinism philosophy which was not at all needed and which in turn damages the flow or feel. He also missed a good opportunity of elevating a sentiment angle to the movie with heroine's father character.Overall he failed to evoke the much needed emotional quotient or feel in the love story.First half is passable and lot was expected from second half .  But the search of hero for heroine was also not conceived well. Movie gets better towards climax but that was too late by then.

 

 

Other Departments:

 

 

Dialogues were okay but some unnecessary dialogues were inserted as said above. Camera & Art work were good. Songs are okay and Background Score could have been much better. Editing was good. Action Sequences Were alright.

 

 

My Rating: 5/10

 

 

Analysis: Heart Attack- Starts on a promising note , has some good moments and also has passable comedy in first half . But weak second half and mainly lack of needed emotional quotient is it's biggest minus.
