Sharmila, Ysrcp Lok Sabha Candidate From Visakhapatnam

Hyderabad: Visakhapatnam seems to get hotter by day even before the dawn of summer. The parliament constituency contest is the reason for that. And if buzz is anything to go by then we may see a triangular contest in one of the key constituencies of the state.

The YSR Congress Party is fielding its spearheaded weapon, YS Sharmila, daughter of former chief minister Late Dr YSR. She is also sister of the party's founder and president YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Sharmila will contest for the Lok Sabha from Visakhapatnam. The decision about Sharmila was reportedly taken at the party's plenary meeting.

And a first timer for Sharmila, she would face stiff competition from Union Minister Daggubati Purandeshwari, who we believe will be renamed as Congress party’s candidate with T Subbarami Reddy candidature going for Rajya Sabha seat!

YSRCP believes that it will be easy walk through for Sharmila to Lok Sabha from Vizag considering the crowds she could attract during her walking 2000+ km walking yatra when Jagan was in judicial remand facing allegations of disproportionate assets.
