LIC home loan is a trap man...they increase 1%/ year...its not fixed...one of my friends signed up for 8.75%...now he is paying 11.75%...so don't trust that...IDBI is good...

Probably you are not aware that banks will give only variable loan to NRI's and the interest on such loans  fluctuates based on the RBI policy and may go up or down or remains stable, every quarter when RBI revises it's monetary policy
