Mahesh Babu has been riding a huge wave of popularity ever since ‘Dookudu’ came out and became a big hit at the Box Office. ‘Businessman’ and ‘Seethamma vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ added to the strength of Brand Mahesh.

 

Perhaps, this commercial success prompted Mahesh Babu to try something different. He took a bold decision and opted to work with Sukumar for the very unconventional ’1 Nenokkadine’. The film drew a lot of praise for its high technical values and Mahesh’s brilliance but it ended up loosing a tremendous amount of money at the Box Office.

 

Sources close to Mahesh Babu say that this has really upset the actor. Mahesh is the kind of hero who does not like his distributors to lose money and he has reportedly decided to chalk up some big commercial hits immediately, to offset the damage caused by ’1 Nenokkadine’.

 

Sreenu Vaitla’s ‘Aagadu’ is being reinforced with an extra dose of commercial grade entertainment. Originally, the team wanted to release the film in summer, but they are taking some more time to get things right, instead of rushing through with the output. Similarly, Raj and Dk’s project will not happen immediately. Sreenu Vaitla and Puri Jagan have been given more priority.
