chinna info kavali.. naa opt aug 20 ki expire avutundi .. next inka extension eligibility vundi... nenu ippudu Apr ki H1 ki apply cheddam anukuntunna with priority.. so if in case naa H1 reject ite nenu June lo OPT extension apply cheyachaa.. oka vela lottery pick avaka poina extension apply cheyacha.. if edina queries padi delays ite kuda OPT extension cheyacha..

 

I need your suggestions bhayyas..

cheyyocchu man, this is how it works, as of now u r in f1 status, so now lets assume u have applied for h1, it got picked up and u got ur h1 visa approved, ur h1 will be starting from oct 2014,  nee initial opt will be expired in aug 2014, which means u will be out of status till oct 2014(beginning of new status) if u dont apply for a opt extension, in case h1 pick avvakapoinaa nuvvu opt extension file cheyyali, in case pick aithe nee opt automatic ga inactivate ayyipotundi starting frm oct 2014, bottomline either scenarion u ll have to apply for stem opt in the order to be in status...as simple as dat ATB

Thank you bio bhayya.. so eee sitaution lo ina nenu OPT extension apply cheyalsindee.. But some thing like CAP gap ani edo vuntadi kada which helps me in status from aug to oct if my H1 approved.. If edina RFE padi delay ite can i apply OPT ext in JUN like that.. At a time two applications vundacha. i mean H1 and OPT stem..

first of all cap gap anedi nee stem opt kuda expire ayyipothe apudu nuvvu eligible, but ipudu nee situation lo u r not eligible for a cap gap. RFE ainaa, delay ainaa edainaa sare u ll have to apply for stem extension this year before your current opt expires, in case h1 approve aithe  stem extension automatic ga terminate ayyi, sevis lo h1 activate avuthundi, ok??
