dkc Posted February 11, 2014 Report Posted February 11, 2014 ONGC and HPCL are nothing but govt .. yeah, they'll be forced to explain why gas prices should be hiked, when international gas prices are so low currently. even considering the compression, liquefaction of Natural gas, it'll still be competitive compared to the rate hike in India.

I think we are the one of the highest petrol consuming country, internationally standards not feasible, without one day of supply country will go to dogs and with limited imports and generation it is obvious that prices will continously rise. The real point lies in generation, only oil companies know what is happening with supply. And as I told ONGC and HPCL papers are in the hands of Reliance, HPCL Vizag is has the worst equipment that is not used anywhere in the world

Its fair enough to blame the companies for it, coz they are the beneficiaries. The fact is that international prices will be less than half of that price from Apr. How do you explain that? I'm gonna sleep. there is more to it than that ... currently is not $4.2 but $5.XX in the US and varies vastly depending on the region ,, transportation costs and taxes tarvatha obv it will be more expensive when it comes to india .... please read the basics of economics and world markets before you try to argue so adamently . screw it man . please sleep and give us all some peace
