i m damm sure dat gujarat wil stand alteast 3 more yrs in d top.. no other state in our country has dat much probablty to supply power nd gas.. 

 

as far as states go, Gujarat is not on top even in Industrial production. Maharashtra is, according to the last mospi site that indicates indices for industrial production. In GDP, obviously plenty of other states including AP beat it.

 

But if you consider the general quality of life, TN is miles ahead of Gujarat. Number of babies born healthy, gender gap, literacy rate, malnutrition, those in poverty. etc.

 

Jayalalitha should be made PM. Or even Karunanidhi.

obviously because gujarat has come out of its poverty state very recently( 10-20 years) , historically the region was drought prone and was hit by devastating earth quakes ,,,, in less than 10 years it has come on par with the top GDP states like karnataka , maharastra, AP and TN ....
