To be eligible to apply for TN visa you need Canada citizen ship

As per new rules passed last week..you need to stay 4 years of 6 years to apply for Citizenship.The processing time for citizenship is typically around 3 years (as of now)

 

To get a PR you should have a valid Job offer or your occupation should be in the list of the occupations that are skill shortage (check for official list at canada.ca) and should fulfill the other eligibility criteria like education,age,experience,language etc.There a quota of 10k visas every year with a max of 1000 visa to each occupation.

Once you qualify and pass the screening process and complete medicals..you will receive PR [the time to process is typically 18 months]
