The TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu appears to be a worried man for the hasty stand he has taken on the Telangana issue that upset his apple cart. While Congress appears to have snatched the Telangana credit in the region, Chandra Babu Naidu only gained hostility in the Seemandhra region.

Now he is engaged in operation correction of committed mistakes,to save the party from rout in both the regions. While the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy took a spontaneous decision by leaving Telangana and strengthening the party in the Seemandhra region by resigning enmasse, Naidu faltered in taking a decision, endangering the party in both the regions.

Naidu held discussions with senior leaders on Saturday. It is learnt that a decision was taken that Naidu should rush to New Delhi and represent to the President Pranab Mukherjee about the Seemandhra agitating. Later he would undertake another Yatra of the state, named ‘Telugu Jaati Aatma Gourava Parirakshana Yatra’.

He wants to tell the people that the situation when N T Rama Rao launched the TDP is once again prevailing. The self respect of the Telugus is at stake, he is going to tell the people and try to gain through the slogan. He would try to impress upon the people that the Delhi rulers were insulting the Telugu race. Naidu is going to handle the Telangana issue diplomatically by neither supporting or opposing it. He would only talk about the Telugu pride that was at stake, said sources.
