both are different fundamentally. self sufficient state is like a family, that has to balance its budget and plan for its future. A Country has no such requirement.

Hyd's economy is built on s/w exports, and pharma. SA can capture it.

 

The problem now is dull global economy. So SA may have come at the wrong time.

Hyd's share of taxes is around 49%, along with TG, it's around 66% but with industries moving to SA, and sales tax receipts being affected, this percentage will come down. 

 

AP tax collection is already too less. Partly the reason for its slight backwardness. But it gets huge central assistance compared to other southern states, more than 30% of its revenues (including share in central taxes).

 

If SA can corner the majority of this assistance in the next decade, SA has a good chance of being level with TG pretty soon.

 

New construction, and activity in SA will propel its economy somewhat.

 

hopefully SA people will invest not just on lands and sit on it waiting for some sort of payday, but invest in production and build skill levels in the neighbourhood.
