The bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh has come bolt out of the blue to Seemandhra people who greatly believed that T-state would not be reality before 2014 polls. Yes, there were hopes for them till the last ball of last over of the match. But with none other than umpire rallying behind the opponent team, people of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema lost the match and paid a hefty price. Whatever it may be, let bygones be bygones. It's high time for them to realize the ground reality that Hyderabad will no longer be their capital, could no longer accommodate them like before. Instead, they should focus on building new capital, infrastructure, education, healthcare, setting up of multi-national companies, developing roads & transport, and above all employment opportunities to all ensuring better living for future generations.

These are very easier said than done. It's time taking and painstaking process. Going by authentic reports, newly born Seemandhra state is in a position that it can't even pay salaries to government employees. This is shocking and startling. Moreover, the Central government hasn't stated how much money (package) it is going to give for building the successor state of Andhra Pradesh. It is yet to finalize the capital city. Although it said that a special status will be given for Seemandhra for five years (which is very short period and insufficient), there is no information on what are the tax beneficiaries and how much. It totally fooled the people who were responsible for bringing them to power at Centre twice. Literally, it threw people of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema into darkness.

Naturally, the onus lies on people of the region to take a wise decision to choose their leader in coming polls. Increasingly, there is a growing feeling in Seemandhra that TDP, under the leadership of Chandra Babu Naidu, can alone be saviour of the residuary state. It's his proven track record, his relation with big shots like Bill Gates and his vision are all acting in his favour. Also there is a growing sympathy on Babu who has been kept away from power for 10-long-years. The other contender Jagan, who is vying up for top slot, hasn't done anything to people till date despite being Member of Parliament. He hardly did things for his own constituency as MP and focused all his eggs in his party development that is for his selfish gains. Many senior politicians have already walked out of the party protesting Jagan's attitude. "How can a leader who don't care for his own family, followers could do justice to people?," questions a former YSR Congress leader. At the same time, one can't ignore the fact that Jagan is out on bail.

He has been accused of massive corruption scandals under quid-pro-quo. All these aspects are hampering Jagan's aspirations. Now many youth are seeing Chandra Babu as the only ray of hope. To many he is the messiah of Seemandhra. Let's wait and see till the elections. -
