nice tips man..... i dint knew about this PMI upfront...... manam 20% down chesthey ne we can avoid insurance anukunna..... but thakkuva like 5% & upfront PMI katti kuda konachu ani teludu... 

lets say the condo price is 150000 , 20% of it  is 30,000 --------------i can pay a downpayment of 10000, i cannot get the 20k more for the downpayment..................what the mortage person will tell is u have to pay PMI for some years monthly a 100$ until u reach 20% of ur principal loan amount..............nenu anta calculate chesukunanu...................20% of the loan amount kattadaniki naku for example 8yrs pattindi anuko for example, 1200*8 =9600 u are paying as PMI...............but if i pay 3k upfront so that i can avoid PMI everymonth and im saving 6000$ as PMI right..............this is what i calculated...........
