Do you have valid I-797 till sep30
Do you have visa stamping till sep 30

If above statements are true then

you can travel to US and apply for extn. Inko 3 years ravochu Once extn approved you can work in US without stamping as long the I-797 is valid. But if you travel out of US after sep30(expiry date ). You need to go for stamping
