Job Title: SENIOR APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Duration: Permanent
Location: North Houston- Near Intercontinental Bush Airport.
 
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The Senior Application Developer works with Business Analysts and IT to perform technical analysis, design, development, & production support of complex computer application systems on a variety of technology platforms.
 
Job Functions
Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications
Provide work estimates for development of new features and projects.
Follow all appropriate design, development, and testing specifications.
Collaborate with team members and internal customers to define customer requirements and system interfaces.
System integration design and development.
Provide standard documentation for all phases of application development.
Understand the business function(s) supported by the application software.
Provide a high level of customer service, partner with end-users in the resolution of application problems or in the deployment of new software applications.
Other duties as required.
 
Required:
5+ years hands-on experience programming in C# (.NET 2.0-4.0)
5+ years working with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques
Experience with high-volume transactional systems
Experience/knowledge of relational and object-oriented databases and structures,  MS SQL Server/NHibernate preferred
Experience with data modeling, logical and physical database design
Must be a team player willing to contribute in a fast paced environment
Ability to leverage a background in technologies as well as an understanding of the latest technologies and their impact on product development.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in a computer systems related field require
Knowledge of ecommerce, direct to consumer web-based applications, Fulfillment system, back end processing applications, SQL Jobs.
Experience supporting and developing SaaS products

 

Mandarin Chinese fluency.
