Data Architect Job Responsibilities

Hello all,

 

Can anybody throw some light on prerequisites required for data architect positions? What might be the job responsibilities of we opt for these positions? Do you think this course involves coding or programming? I'm an MBA, I do not have any kind of experience in these technologies before..

Its an Architect position...............Atleast you should know the what kind of data the client is responsible.........for ex automotive industry means..............Cars,Sales,Claims,Car models,CPO sales,Used Sales, new Sales,Warranty,

 

Apart from it u should know atleast Data Modelling and some of the tools for it like ER studio.....

 

 

If ur an MBA graduate, better go to some Businesss Analyst positions

Data marts...industry codes...industry terminology gurunchi chala knowledge undali..

u are more than a project manager..u hav to optimally design design ..such tht it facilitates querying, producing files thru tools.

reports etc..without hassles..

if only a resdesign is reqd...u shd be able to do it within min time and budget...
