mastikaraja Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 let me add , business intelligence is nothing but using data to better understand customer wants and provide better products or servicetake for example :In a grocery store there is POS system -point of sale where data is collected so as what times of week people are buying more milk --- store manager can use that data to better stock the store so that he dosen't run out of milk lets say Sunday where lot of people buy ---the data from the computer where we checkout stores data which is transactional data which can looked for patterns and buying behaviors to better stock the store -------------- one simple scenario
