Urgent Help , Stopped By Cop For Expired Registration

what i meant was , i remember sending check but not sure if is sent it or not , and i just checked my boa and i don't see it , so i did not send them check 

 

so does that mean i have meet the judge and talk to him about this issue???? or just show them the renewal form and get my license back ???

what could be the fine that i have to pay , any one experienced ??

normally show the renewal and get your license back after you pay the fine.

ask the clerk nicely if she can do something with the fine or violation not showing up on your record.

Oh god, after hearing your experiences, I have to admit that I was lot luckier. I was driving a Car with registration that was expired 5 years back. Cop stopped me, checked my license, insurance, but no active registration. I started panicking and almost thought of ran away. He talked to someone and came back after sometime. (Of course, all the time I put my face like I am nicest and most innocent guy in the world.) He said "I am good cop and leaving you now instead of towing your car, but don't get caught again as there are bad cops too". I said "Thank you Officer" and left.

UPDATE 

 

Went to the court 

 

 Judge Called my name , asked if he spelled my name correctly 

 asked me  my Registration , i showed him and prosecutor new one they just glanced at it not sure if they even looked at it 

 said your case closed and free to go 

gave my license back 1

whole process took 1 min

More than 6 months car can be towed , but its the decision of cop
