Parakala held a press conference on Sunday and described Chiranjeevi as mentally disturbed person. “There is some problem with his personality. He thinks too much of himself and therefore, does not want to be available to the people. That is the reason why people have taught him a fitting lesson in the elections,” he said. Referring to the PRP slogan: “Preme Lakshyam, Sevey Maargam”, Parakala said the slogan, in fact, should have been “Adhikaarame lakshyam, dabbey maargam” (Power is the goal, money is the way). He alleged thatthe PRP leadership had collected not only money, but also plots, flats and agriculture lands from the ticket aspirants. He demanded that Chiranjeevi return all the money and properties to the defeated candidates.
