Pawan In Bjp ? Or Through Loksatta In Bjp ?

Hectic political speculations are going on in Andhra Pradesh that popular Telugu film star and younger brother of union minister of state for tourism K Chiranjeevi Pawan Kalyan is considering to join BJP. He has announced that he will be addressing a press conference on next Sunday to reveal his political plans.

Telugu Desam, Aam Aadmi Party and Lok Satta Party are trying their best to convince him to campaign for their candidates in the election. According to sources, TDP even offered Ongole Lok Sabha seat to his elder brother Naga Babu, who is also a film star seat if Pawan Kalyan camapigs for TDP candidates.

A month ago specualtions hit headlines stating that he is considering to contest from Machilipatnam Lok Sabha seat as TDP candidate. But, Chiranjeevi reportedly prevented him to go public in this regard thrugh Nagababu.

Indications suggest he might. It is learnt that he is in touch with the BJP State leadership to contest on the party ticket from the Kakinada Lok Sabha constituency. The actor is likely to hold a press conference on Sunday to reveal his mind on joining politics.

Pawan is said to be showing more interest in the saffron party as he seems to have been impressed with BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. Reliable sources told that TDP's Rajya Sabha member CM Ramesh had held preliminary talks with the star and suggested the he contest on behalf of the yellow party.

'Pawan believes there is rampant corruption in the State. He is against YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy coming to power. Hence, he is contemplating whether to lend a helping hand to the TDP-BJP combine and checkmate the YSRC. At the same time, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu wants Pawan's help to woo Kapus, an influential section in Seemandhra,' said a source.

Speculation was rife sometime ago that Pawan would campaign for the TDP. As that subsided came his phone call to Ramachandrapuram MLA Thota Trimurthulu on Tuesday ' the same day his supporters contacted Pithapuram legislator Vanga Geeta, once again fuelling speculation of his political arangetram.

As sirivennella seetha rama sastri who is a lyricist a brother Trivikram. Therefore, the influence of Sirivennela will fall on Trivikram and later Trivikram influence fall on Pawan. There fore, indirectly Pawan is connected to Loksatta Party.
