That is why, according to the article, Peter Thiel doesn't invest in food, energy, because govt regulates both of them and most of the times unfairly and incompetently.

 

Its not that hard to cheat death. I believe it's possible before I die. Can start with contraptions to hold brain forever in alive state, and replace the rest of body with a better material.

What he says is similar to an idea in a novel written some 60 years ago. Its very popular one called  "Atlas Shrugged", where a bunch of brilliant people escape from society and form their own society so they can freely pursue their interests.

 

So what if we are not humans. We can be humanoids, and as long as we can maintain a sense of humour, its okay even if we were cockroaches.
