H1 And H4 Different Employer Stamping Entry

Hi ...

I have a question.

 

for instance, i have H1 stamping from Emp A till Dec 2015.

I change to EMP B in May 2014.

 

So if i get married in Sep 2014, my wife would get visa stamping on EMP B.

 

When we both enter POE (after sep 2014), we both go same officer right for Immigration clearance.

Would there be a problem, when he sees stamping of both and see Employers are different.

i.e. I am on EMP A and wife on EMP B.

 

Could you throw some info or experiences.

I think it better for you to get stamping for EMP B

Emp B for your H4. Since you will have valid visa on passport with Valid i797 from New employer, you wont have issues at POE.

u dont need to go stamping again. ur wife is tobe on EMP B

Emp B for your H4. Since you will have valid visa on passport with Valid i797 from New employer, you wont have issues at POE.

VISA and Employer (I-797) are 2 different things...

as long as you have valid visa to travel, you can travel....as long as you have valid I-797 to work, you can work, no need of re-stamping for you.

Yes you can go for stamping if you want but not necessary. I went to stamping when I changed my employer

you will show  old visa but new I797 so that your new I-94 will have new I797 end date. SInce your new I797 matches your wife's visa.. you will be good. no need to worry.
