My H-1B Visa Experience In Hyd

Morning 8 ki appointment unde, 7.45 ki line lo nilapadi lopaliki vellesariki 8.15 ayyindi. As usual anta process anta finish ayyi interview window ki velle sariki 9.00 ayyindi

 

Na mundu oka middle age couple unde, B-1 visa kosam ocharu. Almost 5 mins interview chesadu VO valani.

 

Next na turn.

 

Me: GM officer, how are you doing this morning? (Passed in my passport and I-797)

VO: Good Morning; I am doing good. Can I get your fingerprints of your right hand please?

Me: Sure

VO: So, what do you do for XXX Inc.

Me: I am a Prod Dev. Engineer, do xxx... as specified in my resume.

VO: What is your salary?

Me: xxxx (It was more than the amount specified on my lca since I got a raise 2 months ago)

VO: What is your highest level of education?

Me: I have a Master's degree in XXX from XXX university.

VO: Alright man, see you later!!

Me: Thank you officer, you have a good rest of the day. BTW, I am impressed by your fluent hindi you spoke to the elderly couple whom you interviewed before me.

VO: Thank you!! Appreciate it.

 

 

Went to passport collection center the next day and picked up my passport.

 

Total interview lasted about 1-2 mins. The VO only looked at my I-797. No other docs asked for.
