cherlapalli_jailer Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 : Moving forward following the decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh, Congress tonight appointed separate PCC chiefs for Seemandhra and Telangana. Raghuvira Reddy has been appointed PCC chief for Seemandhra while the party has named Ponnala Lakshmaiah as the state chief for Telangana. Besides, Uttam Reddy has been appointed as the working president for Telangana. The announcements were being anticipated for the last few days after the declaration of the poll schedule. "Consequent to the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the proposal to appoint the chiefs of the Seemandhra and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committees, Chairs of Campaign, Manifesto and Pradesh Election Committees," party General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a party release. Raghuvira Reddy & Ponnala Lakshmaiah are the Telangana & Seemandhra PCC chiefs The Pradesh Election Committee (PEC) for Telangana has 23 members, including Union minister Jaipal Reddy, party MPs Ponnam Prabhakar and Renuka Chowdhary and AICC secretary Hanumantha Rao. Union Ministers Kishore Chandra Deo, Chiranjeevi, Pallam Raju, KS Rao, Panabaka Laxmi and JD Selam, are among the members in the PEC for Seemandhra. The party has also announced the creation of a campaign committee for Seemandhra, which will be chaired by Chiranjeevi. Senior leader Damodar Raja Narsimha will head the similar body in Telangana. Campaign committees for both the states will also have a co-chairman. A Ramnarayana Reddy heads the Manifesto Committee for Seemandhra while D Sridhar Babu is the manifesto chairman for Telangana. The Andhra Pradesh Reorgansiation Bill, which will pave the way for the creation of a separate Telangana state, has been cleared by Parliament. Setting up of separate committees for poll-related work in Telangana and the residual state of Andhra Pradesh is being seen as an attempt by Congress to put its house in order before the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Ekambaram Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 This elections they have to maintain very low profile or else morally also they will loose and more over no one from Cong is willing to spend money unless that particular candidate Is confident of winning so this elections are very light for them IN SA i think the other way...if chiranjeevi is anounced as cm candidate atleast they will have the support of some section of people in SA and they can gain some milage and keep the morale up... but they will not do it..because they dont want to split YCP vote share
cherlapalli_jailer Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 i think the other way...if chiranjeevi is anounced as cm candidate atleast they will have the support of some section of people in SA and they can gain some milage and keep the morale up... but they will not do it..because they dont want to split YCP vote share PK entry spoiled the chances I guess
Ekambaram Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 PK entry spoiled the chances I guess If they anounce Chiru as CM candidate PK might step back I guess...as ultimately he wanted Chiru to rule the state..and he was upset because he merged with congress where he might take ages to reach for the highest job...
cherlapalli_jailer Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 If they anounce Chiru as CM candidate PK might step back I guess...as ultimately he wanted Chiru to rule the state..and he was upset because he merged with congress where he might take ages to reach for the highest job... Cong has no tradition of Announcing CM candidate ..even YSR for 2nd term ...he is unofficial candidate... so at this time they may not do.. and lot of others will leave the party in pretext of that..so emi leni daniki marikotha mandi leaders ni vadulukoledukada.. any how that community is with him
Ekambaram Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Cong has no tradition of Announcing CM candidate ..even YSR for 2nd term ...he is unofficial candidate... so at this time they may not do.. and lot of others will leave the party in pretext of that..so emi leni daniki marikotha mandi leaders ni vadulukoledukada.. any how that community is with him well if the community is with him...who are behind PK?
cherlapalli_jailer Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 well if the community is with him...who are behind PK? PK pedithe 90% jump ade kada andari bayyam.. now majority with Cong...just bcoz of chiru ...but they hate Cong ..so they r spread in TDP and More in YCP So majority will come to PK ..and bigger loss I think is to YCP
Ekambaram Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 PK pedithe 90% jump ade kada andari bayyam.. now majority with Cong...just bcoz of chiru ...but they hate Cong ..so they r spread in TDP and More in YCP So majority will come to PK ..and bigger loss I think is to YCP so my point was..why not cong declare chiru as CM candidate to keep hold of the 90% and stop PK from setting up a new kitchen?... anyways the leaders who are ought to leave has already left the party by now...
cherlapalli_jailer Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 so my point was..why not cong declare chiru as CM candidate to keep hold of the 90% and stop PK from setting up a new kitchen?... anyways the leaders who are ought to leave has already left the party by now...then they have to do in every state which is not possible
Ekambaram Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 then they have to do in every state which is not possible i dont think congress is so ethical...they have different strategies in different states
Ekambaram Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 one pure recent example... why dalit cm in tg..why not in AP?..why not in other ruling states..and why not for PM?
