OATS PUDDING

 
Do u need a yummy bi  healthy pudding ,  with out high calorie ?
Here is the delicious sweet or pudding "oats pudding ". shocked ?  yes   i prepared and enjoyed it many times, from years to feel full when i avoided the lunch . Its benefit is  when ever u replace it  with  your breakfast or lunch, next day u check your weight , am sure at least it will be reduced 200 gm, nice na ?  :)  . U can call this as diet pudding too and I hope who all don't like oats also may like this pudding.
So why  to delay give a try ,,,,,

Ingredients:-
  1. Oats (any , but i use quaker)   1/4 cup  (or  4 tsp)
  2. Milk                                       1 cup
  3. Jaggery      less  than              1/3 cup
  4. Cardamom powder                1 pinch
  5. Ghee                                     1/2 tsp
  6. Water                                   1/2 cup
  7. Dry fruits chopped (optional )
Note:-
You can change the water , milk ratio according to thickness u need , if u feel jaggery  is  more while eating mix some more milk it will balance the sweetness ( reduce next time) , else u need more sweet  then u  can add little more , instead of  jaggery   you  can also use sugar , but  jaggery  gives more taste and  good  for health .
 
Cooking time :10 min
Serves          : 2

Method:-

Take a vessel , add  milk and water , turn  on  the stove , keep medium flame, after  2  min add oats  stir  it, after 2 min add jaggery  and  stir nicely  let  it be on stove till it starts  boiling give a  stir  in  between , let  it boil  for 4-5 min then turn off the stove .

Take a small vessel or pan add 1/2 tsp of ghee heat it for 1 min , now add dry  fruits  like  almonds , cashews and fry till they turn lite brown , then remove them , turn off the stove now add raisins and fry for 1 min. Now add these dry fruits to cooked oats and mix well or garnish with dry fruits .
Now oats pudding is ready to serve .
