Performances:

 

 

Arya 's performance was nice, Nayanatara was fantastic in her role and she dominated every one. Jai and Nazriya Nazreem were fine . Satyaraj was perfect and mano's voice was an added advantage. Santanam was quite good . Others all were okay.

 

 

Technica Departments:

 

Story-Screenplay-Direction : Story line is not new but director atlee tried to scores by handling it in a different way. Though the film has ups and downs through out the film, director manages with in between fun in the narration. First half is nice, comedy between jai and nayanatara worked out well. Second half is more dragged and also predictable towards climax, but director was successful in maintaining the feel in both the flashback between arya-nazrim and arya - nayanatra track after the flashback. However I  felt that  the final twist at the climax was unnecessary. 

 

 

Technical Departments:

 

 

Dialogues were good, Camera work by George C Villiams was too good with rich visuals, Editing could have been better . Music by G V Prakash was alright, songs could not impress, background score was quite good but went loud at times. 

 

 

My Rating: 6.5/10

 

 

Analysis: Raja Rani - Has it's share of flaws like length of the movie, overboard emotional scenes but  lead actors performance,screenplay and situational  comedy make it up for the most.
