Anta Assamey Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 Hyderabad: After achieving Telangana statehood, individuals and associations who fought for the cause, are keen on getting one or the other political role.Representatives of Telangana Advocates JAC are now demanding all major parties –Congress, TDP and TRS, to allocate some MLA seats to advocates in Telangana.Advocates JAC resident Rajender Reddy expressed surprise at the attitude of political parties towards advocates. He said that advocates have protected the T activists through their legal services and this cannot be ignored by political parties.Rajender Reddy said at least one MLA seat shall be given to advocates from each district.The Advocates JAC even threatened a plan of action if the parties do not come out with announcement to this effect, in the next two days.Rejender said the advocates JAC will also involve students and youth associations of Telangana in their fight for justice
