I work as a full time employee for a mid size company. My employer filed PERM a month ago. My current role in my company is technical support engineer.

I found a position with title software QA engineer in the same company. I am planning to apply for that position. If i am selected for this position, what will happen to my PERM. WIll it be still valid, can i use the same PERM or should we start the PERM process again? Please give me your valuable suggestions.

I think if more than 50% of your roles and responsibilities changes you'll have to start over

but chala companies lo base requirements same vuntaiii ... original position requirements preferred lo vuntai..

check your current job posting and check new position job posting if 50% match you're good to go for new position ... but if it is totally different ...start over ...

this is to best of my knowledge...
