After a series of flops, Balakrishna took a brief break from films and picked Boyapati’s Legend to make a comeback. Boyapati Srinu presented Balakrishna in one of the actor’s career best roles in Simha. Now, fans are expecting Legend to be a roaring success at the box office. Despite Balakrishna’s flop streak, distributors and exhibitors are showing lots of interest in Legend. The film is getting tremendous rates in almost all the areas. Legend rights were sold for more than Rs 3 crore in Ceded, Guntur and Uttarandhra areas. None of the senior heroes managed to get such a response in the recent past. This shows the star power of Balakrishna and his immense following among the masses. With Simha, Balakrishna entered the Rs 30 Cr club and proved his stamina. Can he break his own record with Legend and enter the Rs 40 Cr club too? No senior hero as a ‘solo’ lead could break into this league. Balakrishna’s blockbuster has the potential to set a new trend in the industry.
