Story

Fresh out of college, Venu is recruited by a detective agency. Venu’s passion is to become a detective as he has got good observation and analytical skills coupled with patience. His job is to do surveillance and shadowing on his subjects and give a detailed report on them. He meets Madhu (Janani Iyer) in an odd situation and she becomes his next subject. He starts falling in love with her. He realizes that all his subjects are getting killed in mysterious circumstances. The rest of the story is all about how he changes the mystery and protects his love in the process.

Performances:

Ashok Selvan was adequate, his expressions in key scenes were not good. Janani  Iyer was okay as female lead, kali provided some sort of humour. Jayaprakash was good as police officer, a better known actor could have done justice to the professor role in the key scene. Others were al right.

Technical Departments:

Story-Screenplay-Direction : Director P Ramesh has chooses an innovative plot for his debut movie. Initial set up was nicely done and love track between lead pair was fine. Till the hero realising the mystery part movie is fine and from the moment he realises the mystery,15 minutes prior to interval were just amazing. That raises expected towards expectations towards the second half.  Though the director was successful in maintaining the suspense even after the killer's identity revealed, the thrill & needed intensity were missing. villains became passive after hero starts searching for the truth , also the director should have selected much known artistes for the negative roles , it would have added much value to the movie. As said above, Director fails to maintain the tempo after the interval throughout the second half. Ending scene was done in open ended manner like recent tamil thrillers pizza and villa.

Other Departments: Dialogues were okay. Camera work as perfect with good visuals/frames. Editing could have been better in 2nd half.

My Rating: 5/10

Analysis: Bhadram is Just Okay . Suspense elements, Pre interval episode are plus points of the movie but second half was a complete let-down .
