Hi all,

 

Telisina employer through ee requirement vachindi. Front end UI developer role with HTML, CSS and java script ani.. Can anybody clarify my questions?  1) does it have lot of programming in it?  2) Future prospects and job opportunities ela untayi indhulo? 3) average ga pay ela untundi? stress ekkuvaga untundi...I have no programming experience so far.

The main difference is error handling.

Coz lay man uses the Front End ...where as back end u can except the data(to some extent)

 

and lot of dependencies like browser versions etc.. so its a pin in the Hass (h silent)

Things to know :-

 basic:- HTML,CSS(can be learn in one day with lynda courses)

next level:- need to know the basic photoshop to open the file, minimum tools(can be learn in 2-4 hours)

next level:- javascript(this is little bit hard, can be learn only through practice. ).

next level: jquery. 

Need to handle all the browsers its called cross compatability:- this can be learn only through experience. (you can get this experience in one month).

Better to know:- bootstrap, LESS or SASS.

If you are strongly trained atleast for 15 days. you can dive in to the project and manage with some body help.

 

Front end techniques or browser hack cannot be learn during your course or trainning. This will be learn only experience. 

Front end will be applicable to any back end programming  like java, dotnet,php, ruby rails, python, wordpress. you name anything.

For any web based company irrespective of the programming they need front end developers to make their website responsiveness.

Job satisfaction:- 100% because of fun in coding. 

Level of coding :- very easy once if you know the  basics. later you can build and manage yourself through Google,stackoverflow ,you tube and online tutorials. 

 

opportunities:- plenty because every web based project needs front end developer. chances are high. 

Pay:- because of simple coding , simple to manage, clients pay will range from 40 - 70  per  hour on an average depending on the state and company. There are so many front end developers who are drawing more than 120k in a full time position.

There is nothing wrong in spending some time for the front end coding.

In the future you can create your own website. thats funn aaaaa.

Not only that  if you can able to learn the wordpress or joomla  (which wont take more than a week end) then you can work as  a free lancer and make extra money . 

Small business owners pay 500$ - 20,000$ to build website. The more the website is dynamic, the more you can charge. 

Jquery has tons of plugins for the gallery, carousel ,animations. you can cheat the business owners that you did it by your own. thats coool aaaaa.

But this will take lot of time to expert this way. atleast a year if you dedicated fully. 

Front end developing is all about techniques and magics. Once you know the magics, you will say ossss anthe naaaa........antaru

If you want to survive in the client place. better to have support from India. you can get so many people to support you. 

But I strongly recommend to prepare well by listening to the videos in lynda.com, youtube before you go to the client place. otherwise you cannot survive , you will easily caught if you keep more than 3 yrs experience. 

If you want to become the front end developer, I strongly recommend to start preparing . 

Once if you are familiar with the front end developing you can jump to either dotnet,java,php anything. 

If you dont have any interest in the coding. just stay away. 

when it comes to video for a start, go to youtube start learning from html ,css start reading the w3schools.com

once you are familiar go and touch the javascript and continued with jquery. This takes atleast  15 days if you spend atleast 12 hours a day to get familiarity. 

Lynda.com they have so many videos on the javascript,jquery, bootstrap,less,responsivneess design. they will charge 25$  a month to get access to the videos

for free go to to udemy and try the html5 for free.

One more thing I want to share, you don't see any desi front end developers in the companies . So you have to work by your own , most of the American developers show attitude if you ask for help . Problems starts from here . Chances are very less to get help again and again . Once if you are mastered its real fun playing with the American developers which I am doing right now .
