Fact and Dimensions ante.. avi kuda mamulu tables ee.. andulo unde data tho differential chestharu tables ni.. Dimensions, Fact, aggregates, etc etc ani...

 

so elanti table ki ayna column add cheyadam  same.. 

 

alter table <table name to which u want to add column> add <new column whcih u want to add> <new column's data type with size>;

 

example: ne fact table FCT_SALE_LINE and new column name Customer_code  anuko..

 

alter table FCT_SALE_LINE add CUSTOMER_CODE varchar(50)

 

table names, column names and respective data types with size neku ichina document lone untadi chudu..

1st Dim tables alter cheyyi...next Fact table alter cheyyi...

If ur proj asked to relate dim newly col to fact new col... u have to add some extra options in fact tbl atler command to relate dim tbl

Seems u r using SQL server, so u may be using SQL mgmt studio, where u can graphically add columns instead of queries...

Oracle, Tsql queries differ in some data types and constaints-- just for info
