the Supreme Court in its proposal to the BCCI, said they must ban Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from the Indian Premier League and suggested former India captain Sunil Gavaskar take over after N Srinivasan reportedly told the Supreme Court that he was "quitting."

The BCCI has been asked to respond to the proposal on Friday.

The IPL will be left with just six teams if Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are banned from playing in the tournament.

The Supreme Court will pass an interim order at 10.30 AM tomorrow and it is understood that an investigation will be ordered.
