Fact Sheet: BJP Scaring TDP

BJP leader Kishan Reddy gave a little jolt to the TDP by saying that if there is no understanding over the seat adjustment, the party would not think twice before having a tie-up with TRS.

It is being said that some senior TDP leaders met up with Prakash Javadekar who came into Hyderabad to look into the nitty-gritties of a tie-up with TDP.

At present, BJP is demanding 45 Assembly seats and 9 Parliamentary seats in Telangana and 15 Assembly seats and 5 Parliamentary seats in Seemandhra. However, both the parties have not reached a formal understanding yet.

Meanwhile, due to the present stalemate, Kishan Reddy has leaked information to the media that the Saffron party would not hesitate in having a tie-up with TRS if TDP does not accept their terms.

It remains to be seen if a tie-up would happen between both the parties and if so, on how many seats.
