I am using it since last year, no complaints at all. I am planning to buy Canon 1DX by the end of this year and use 70D as secondary camera. The good thing about the Canon (EF) lenses is they work on both the bodies, did that homework before buying 70D..., I guess they might work on other Canon bodies as well but not sure. Let me know if you want to see some sample pics....,

Mount is same across the Canon's APS-C DSLR range.... but there r 2 types of lenses u should know about, EF and EF-S

EF lenses are kind of pro where EF-S(The letter S stands for small image circle) lenses are for entry level DSLRs.

Entry Level (T3i, T4i, T5i) --> EF-S     Comparatively cheap

Pro Level(60D, 70D, 7D etc.) --> EF   Costly but excellent performer because of the better material used to build the lenses + different filters embedded

vice versa might not give optimum result. Mainly because of the difference in distance between the lense opening and sensor might give unwanted -/+ in aperture, focal length etc.
