Baa..adhi Java based e-commerce framework. If you know about ATG, Magento....it is very similar to them. The main usage is that, the framework comes with a already developed e-commerce webstie (Some kind of reference store), the developers just need to extend that existing store to extend the existing  catalog display, order management, shipping, payment management, discounts, promotions and etc. It is quite easy to do that. And within just a few weeks an end-to-end e-commerce site can be developed and deployed. Hybris is based on the Spring FWK, if you have Spring experience, you should be okay with it. So far, the e-commerce market has been dominated by ATG, Websphere e-commerce. But Hybris has very good future and the contract rates in coming days. I have been looking very hard for the material. It is a rare tech with possibility of high rates. And medium based retailers will prefer this for their e-commerce websites (large retailers also will go in coming days). Java is per-requisite. Please, once you get chance to work on it in your project, please message me, I can explain more.
