H1B Stamping In India Help Plzzz

Hi frnds need some suggestion's regarding H1B stamping.

 

I have my H1B valid until oct and i have a plan of going to india in may and come back with stamping in june.What are the chances and % that H1 will get stamped as i have gap of 5 months.People say if i have good documentation to show that Extension is not a problem its fine..

 

How far is this correct and if i get stamped also is their any problem in Port of Entry ? regarding short gap.

 

Other way is filing extension and going to india but to which petition i need to go for stamping the new or old.If i go for new then the start date will be in OCT and should come to US after OCT only.If i use old H1 can i show that i have a extension petition already approved to them ?
