Hyderabad: The Aam Aadmi Party of Andhra Pradesh today announced first list of 31 candidates for Telangana region and 29-member list for Seemandhra region.

 

The AAP has provided entry into politics to persons who otherwise would stay away from electoral politics because of the domination of corrupt, criminal elements and a few dynasties. Emphasis was given for individuals involved in social work to contribute to society. The party also laid stress on honesty and public service. Broad representation was given to people across socio-economic categories for common people.

 

The list includes an -

 

 Auto driver Sridhar from Malakpet,

A visually handicapped but highly accomplished High Court advocate Chandra Supriya from Malkajgiri, Young Adivasi activist from Paderu (Visakha district),

Young chartered accountant Mohan Kumar from Yemmiganur (Kurnool district),

Dalit social activist and singer Chandra Prakash from Ibrahimpatnam

An NRI returned Seera Ramesh Kumar from Vizianagaram.

Besides, some 30% representation was given to youth between 25 and 35 years
