Hi Guys,

You pretty much know how to create reports in SSRS. In my previous articles at www.sqlsaga.com, I have written an article regarding how to create a basic SSRS report @ http://sqlsaga.com/ssrs/how-to-create-a-basic-ssrs-report-with-parameters/

Today I have written an article to explore more things with SSRS such as creating a Map report using SSRS. Read the below article for more details @ http://sqlsaga.com/ssrs/how-to-create-a-map-report-using-ssrs/

Provide any valuable feed back, if you have any or any questions you may have in the form of comments...

I am creating these articles to make sure students / beginners or people with intermediate level of expertise over sql server databases can be benefited. You don't have to pay anything or so. Please read through the articles and make sure you learn the database stuff well and explore new areas of study.

Iloveindia have a question ntext (casted to varchar(max)) source column and im doing some cleaning using regular expressions in the scriptcomponent , conversion of ntext to dt_str,dt_str max is 8000 characters, but my source is more than 20k characters so in the target everything after 8000 is being cut off. is there a way to get all the 20 characters .. target varchar(max)
