Need of an SAP MM developer to join their team. We are 

 

ideally seeking someone with 3-5 years of SAP experience. 

 

The IT Specialist assists in delivery of high quality solutions to the Company in response to specific 

 

business requirements. Develops technical skills and absorbs professional knowledge quickly. Performs 

 

assigned technical tasks including study, analysis, programming, product installation. 

 

The IT Specialist must possess product, technology, or industry-related specialized skills and works with 

 

proposals, requirements, designs, implementations and production systems environments. 

 

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: 

 

This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations 

 

and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines: 

 

1. Work independently (with guidance from senior team members) to generate technical solutions, involving 

 

technology, methodology, processes, tools and solution components. Performs assigned technical tasks 

 

including study, analysis, programming, product installation. May be asked to research special topics as part 

 

of team responsibilities. 

 

2. Engaged as independent IT professional who advises others on tools, technology and methodology 

 

related to the design and development of IT solutions. Develops and provides specialized written and verbal 

 

communications to end users, peers, and support personnel. 

 

3. Provides analytical support necessary to develop and implement solutions for small to medium size 

 

projects, or components of larger projects. 

 

4. Apply technical knowledge in support of the evaluation and selection of hardware and software. This can 

 

involve participating in the development, packaging and distribution of a recommended solution, or the 

 

justification, requirements in a proposal project. 

 

5. Designs and implements complex database environments and application solutions to meet performance 

 

objectives and business requirements. Solicits, analyzes, and understands end user business requirements 

 

to provide integrated solution design. 

 

6. Participates in development of proposals and development of reports. Regularly participates in overall 

 

departmental program planning in the areas of cost, schedule and technical risk. 

 

7. Provides recommendations to improve department's operational, technical, and end user satisfaction 

 

results. Identifies potential upstream and downstream impacts and translates business requirements into 

 

computer requirements. Is responsible for identifying new technical solution opportunities. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or a related discipline; or 

 

equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

2. Experience with the following Technologies/Methodologies preferred: 

 

a. 3+ years of working experience in enterprise software design and development, with a minimum of 1 year 

 

in project management or sub-team lead roles, and a minimum of 3 years in hands-on programming and 

 

architecture design for a variety of enterprise software applications 

 

b. Support for analysis, design, application development and implementation of primarily SAP ECC 6.0 MM 

 

(and includes the following required skills): 

 

i. Knowledge in basic ECC MM Modules for Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, 

 

Consumption Based Planning. 

 

ii. Experience working in a highly customized environment is a plus. 

 

iii. Knowledge of serial number management, Warehouse Management module helpful. 

 

c. Support maintenance (user support, problem determination, problem resolution) of SAP ECC MM 

 

applications 

 

d. Support for middleware software necessary to operations of the SAP ECC MM applications environment

1. This position requires proficiency and IT knowledge across several platforms. Participates in multiple 

 

design activities with authority to make independent choices free from supervision. 

 

2. Requires strong communication skills to work internally with end user departments, management and 

 

peers. Develops and provides written and verbal presentations to end users, peers, and support personnel. 

 

3. Problem Solving and analytical skills: demonstrates superior diagnostic ability and proficiency in the use 

 

of specialized tools, techniques and procedures. Exhibits strong analytical ability and creativity in developing 

 

and integrating solution deliverables for medium size projects 

 

4. Strong team leadership skills able to provide leadership and direction to functional teams and less 

 

experienced IT specialists.
