Extended warraty is to drive more money from your pocket


You spend more on warranty prices than actual cost of repairs


They are only good for nice resale price.

They are not required since any car in todays market will easily 100000$

If you wont properly maintain your car for timely oil change etc then any car will go bad irrespective of brand

Hence used cars with multiple owners is a risky business

But i am sure most of the extended warranties are offered by local dealers or third parties whome you cannot trust like original carmaker.



The only time you buy a extended warranty is

If the car is going to be with you until you through it trash


Or the automaker itself is sellig you


We cannot predict hiw long we are going to keep the car... Hence try to buy extended warranty after 60k miles and you have confidence that you are keeping that car

Subaru dont need extended warranty
