Cherly,

if corporates are really that powerful as you think they might be, Reliance is a bachcha in front of foreign corporates which would've bought every last politician in India by now.

I think you are missing the forest for the trees here.

problem here is u cannot buy with white money that is simple logic

but its a flimsy excuse to run a campaign on. It shows that AK has no real solutions.

I was slightly hopeful when Yogendra Yadav met Khaps, AK wore the skull cap, but apart from Yadav, I've not heard any great insights into their ideology.

especially AK proved to be a disappointment in the interviews he gave.

I donot agree to any of that.
There are corrupt politicians but there are good and honest politicians as well. Same applies to all sectors.
I don't buy the premise that only AAP and it's people are good and the rest are corrupt.

cherly,

I think you like this guy because he raked up KG basin issue, which no one has.

but he has only skimmed the surface of the issue and has picked the easiest target - Mukesh Ambani.

The bigger culprit there is ONGC, oil ministry and ultimately the finance ministry. Ambani does make a lot of money, but the expensive gas has mainly gone into govt coffers more than Ambanis.

That's why no present govt, or future govt will like to tilt the delicate balance.

Coz his intention is clear ..and u cannot achive it overnight so it takes time and u know Indian politics

it is not easy to survive unless other wise u have huge money or backing of National parties

every attempt was/is made to pull his legs...still he is fighting..

Even now he did not even approach any regional party in any state for alliance he is standing for his cause

as long as he stood on this i will support him ...even though i want Modi to be PM and if i am in varanasi

i will vote for AK

I expect you to make a little more convincing arguments, Cherly :)

Every corporate house has lobbyists, and counter lobbyists. Its the way of democracy.

Btw, what do you think about AK raking up the KG basin issue? I have some knowledge on that, and I suspect its an inside job by the govt of India, with Reliance also being a substantial beneficiary.

I think when fuel subsidies go, gas prices might get more realistic.

I think he is just a rabble rouser.

If a self made finance guy like me can understand and appreciate the con in KG basin, I don't get why AK, with all his genius from IIT, can't.

I'm sure if he's given some prominent position in the next govt, he'll disband his party.

by mukesh, really? I think a lot of it has to do with horrible media that India has.

reporting is highly incompetent.

Almost anyone with half a brain in the finance sector knows who the culprit is, in KG basin. But nobody rocks the boat.

actually, I'm very open minded. Just that I haven't heard of any solid agenda from AK. That's all.

Cherly,

in a country where around 90% of people are oppressed, do you think corruption is an issue?

Its an issue only for people who want to think they are middle class, but earn 50k+ a month.

India's per capita GDP $1,100 - ₹60k per year.

anyone who earns more than 1lakh rs per annum is not middle class :)
