India is a highly centralized system because of Indira Gandhi. Only Supreme court, not even EC (sometimes) is an incorruptible independent body. India was rarely a democracy , only nepotism.

No leader understands taxation. Besides there are no defined checks on corruption etc which creates lot of blur when it comes to foreign influence. Keeping United is the only way to run this country no system works in India

I agree that I often try to fit in my understanding of the western system into India.

 

I spent more time out of India, than in it in my adult life.

I wonder if you would've kept your understanding of India alive if you had gotten into TISS, as you wanted to.

their main agenda is lokpal. But both cong N bjp did not vote. N with that majority he cannot run. Govt so he did right
