Passport Validity To Reenter Usa

I am planning to travel india in the month of May 2014 for 3 week vacation and will be returning back on may end 2014;

I have visa stampping until Dec--2015 and my passport getting expired on aug-8-2014; is there any problem during port of entry while coming back to US?

 

During port of entry my passport will be valid for 2 + more month for furture date;

Please confirm so that I can decide whether to travel india or not.

it is not  safe  to travel with  limited period pp....  even u  hav valid visa... i94 wat ever..

 

u can go  with  tatkal here in usa...   i  don't  know  how much  they  take  to issue pp via tatkal.. but  here  now  pp  processs very  easy...

 

bls  rectified mistakes... I  applied recently for my kid and for me....  we got  it by 30days  we used regular process  but if u want  to stand in tatkal u need  to show  some paper work like  any emergency  mrg  card  or etc...  if u need  any more details let me know, about docs or anything pm me.. i think  bls website still  giving some  confused info..  bro...

Better to renew here in US and you will get new passport in 2 weeks.
