India is a Banana Republic, Politicains and influential people use it for their own convenience. Frankly India doesnt Deserve Democracy yet !!

So coming to Death Sentence, Yes we need to generate some fear in Evil ppl to avoid few of the Rapes. Govt. cannot go and change every sick person's brain, it can only scare them with Stringent laws !!!

I think the issue is he trivialised rape. So the discussion on whether death penalty is right or wrong doesn't apply here.

India is too decent a country to implement it. 

 

rape should be treated like any other crime. and punishment awarded based on the gravity of the crime.
