INS Visit FAQs

 

1.      Who (you/preferred vendor/petitioner) supervises the applicant, and is such supervision off-site or on-site?

Answer: My employer performs the supervision. Off -site supervision is done by my employer and on- site supervision is done by the client.

2.      If the supervision is off-site and performed by the petitioner, how does the petitioner maintain such supervision i.e. weekly calls, reporting to the main office routinely, or site visits by the petitioner?

Answer: Regular Supervision from my employer is done by daily/weekly calls and reporting. We discuss the project status, performance, issues, project deadlines. Project Status report is submitted on a quarterly basis.

3.      Name and contact details of the supervisor at XXXX.

Answer:Project managers will keep changing time to time based the projects, But The ‘primary’ project manager having overall responsibility is XXX. Contact Details: phone and email

xxx will provide an alternate project manager(s) on an ‘as needed’ basis.

4.      Is your client’s supervisor in contact with your xxx supervisor?

       Answer:NO

5.      Who has the right to control the work of the applicant on a day-to-day basis if such control is required?

Answer: My employer is responsible to deliver the work assigned through me (mention your name) and have control over my work.

6.       For project purpose, who do you report to at the client place?

Answer: Let them know the name of your Client Project Manager

 

7.      Who determines the direction of the project?

 

Answer: The Project is funded and owned by the client, the client determines the project direction.

8.       Who determines the applicant’s daily activities?

Answer:Client assigns the work targets, I (mention your name) is responsible for delivering the assigned Tasks as per schedules with my employer supervision.

9.      Who provides the tools or instrumentalities for the applicant to perform the duties of employment?

Answer: I am working on a product of the Client with software licenses and copy rights. So I (mention your name) must use the client tools and instrumentalities to perform the duties at on-site location.

10.   Who does your performance evaluation?

Answer: xxx Project Manager and HR. It is done annually

11.   Do you get bonus?

Answer:Yes, I get a ‘performance-based’ bonus

12.  Are you using xxx proprietary software?

Answer:No

13.  What is your education?

Answer:Please let them know your level of education

14.  What is your current job title? What is the nature of your job?

Answer: Please mention your LCA job title

15.  When did you join xxxx?

Answer: Your date of joining--- Check with xxx if you are not sure

16.  Do you pay for immigration expenses like H1B and Green Card?

Answer: No

17.  Whose approval you need to take when you take a day off?

Answer: Approval from xxx supervisor and will pass the information to client Manager.

18.   Whose approval you need to take when you need to take an emergency sick day?

Answer: Approval from xxxx supervisor and pass the information to client supervisor

19.   What is your salary?

Answer: Refer to you current paycheck ----

20.  Who hires, pays, and has the ability to fire the applicant?

Answer: My employer xxx

21.  Who provides the beneficiary with employee benefits?

Answer: My employer xxxx

Just my 2 cents these are not direct visits by INS....its a visit by  the fpu(fraud prevention unit).....like a federal contractor to uscis

May be...kani evado okadu USCIS anthe manaki bayame ga..prepared ga unte better ani vesanu..friend extension file cheste ocharu after 2mo.
