Oct 1st tharvatha velthunav ante....you, by then, are not a student and your visa status is H1B and not F1....so change of status kabati, stamping ki velali... edhi em ayina, mee employer tho; attorney tho matladi nuvvu eh oka decision ki raa....we just give input's :) me: H1 emp, who recently got married to a girl who is on CPT, just as you are in now (and traveled to India, just like the way you are planning to)...

tom brady Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 you can go befor october if you have a valid F1 status..but try to go before september here are the things you shd consider....nee H1 approve ayyaka india velthe(b4 sept) there wont be any problem but nuv india lo unnappudu H1 approve ayithe you shd apply for change of status after you come back to usa naa case lo H1 pick ayyaka india vellanu, return US vachaka H1 approve ayyindi..so nenu COS apply cheyaledu nee daridram thengithe thappa pedda risk ledu... finally...this is not an expert advice, consult your lawyer
