The beneficiary's U.S. degree must be issued by an institution of higher education that is "a public or other nonprofit institution." AND 2. The institution must also be "accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency or association" or "granted a pre-accreditation status." Points to remember is, 1. ITU is Non-profit university..... 2. ITU was granted pre-accreditation status in June 24 2011, accreditation in February 22 2013.... So bottom line is 1. Students who ever graduated ITU from February 2013 (i.e., from spring 2013 semester) are 100% safe. 2.Students who ever graduated ITU after June 2011 (i.e., from summer 2011 semester) are 99.99% safe and can mostly defend 3.Students who ever graduated ITU before June 2011 (i.e., before summer 2011 semister) very tough to defend this kind of RFE's
