dkc
1. a policy on referendums. For ex: localised referundums for important questions, like creation of Telangana without central govt's involvement. 2. Massive tax on inheritance. Atleast 50% tax on inheritances above a certain limit. lets say 1 crore, Including the value of the estate being transferred.

TG area lo maatram referendum theeskovaali ani, aa example lo. 2. lol. estate taxes are not a new concept. US lo state level estate taxes unnayi. UK lo 40%. ofcourse, people find innovative ways to avoid paying it. I think you are one of those guys who think children deserve to sit on their lazy arses because their parents have earned too much to spend within their lifetime. But its very ethical. Just notice how property prices will crash if this is introduced. it is a mark of a decent society to keep the gap between rich and poor to a minimum. Its the executive side, ministers etc, who are supposed to solve ppls problems with the laws at hand. Theoretically. I said Inheritance tax.. so if your estate value at the time of your demise is 100crs. 99 crs should be taxed at 50% before its transferred to your nominee. people will perhaps start spending more and enjoying life a bit better, than saving for kids, and make rest of spenders miserable. All western countries, Canada has inheritance taxes. US has it at state level in some states. Btw, Inheritance tax was proposed in the last budget by Chidambaram. but perhaps around 2-3%. I don't think BJP has the guts to propose this tax.
