if you are on OPT  - Ur SEVIS will indiacte a start and end date for work authorization

if you are on CAP-GAP OPT - Ur SEVIS will indicate an extended end date for work authorization...(which does not mean ur case is picked in the lottery)

 

so the only way to know if your lottery is picked anedi by EAC number...
